I think that daisies are a good symbol for care free.

...  I like how you endow the daisies with an awareness of things, and in this awareness, the reactions that occur.

This reminds me of a old story my great grandma Pokni (that wasn't her name but that is what everyone called her)
She would tell all sorts of stories but it took some time to find the name of this one it reminded me of.
Shawondasee and the Golden Girl
Tells love story between a great spirit falling in love with essentially a dandelion.

Pokni... Aah i love that.... It's sounds cute 😊  
 
I just googled the story... Nice interesting one. 😊 I like these kinds of  traditional stories...
