Dear B ... this is splendid ... like a confession ... meant only to be heard by the reader/listener ... but deserving of the poetic ... awesome flow ... love the rolling layout ... it has an immediacy to it ... shows the love for this person without being maudlin ... bold ... vulnerable ... authenticity ... in a perfect melange ...

This evokes fond memorues of poets that have passed, like souladareatease and some I haven't seen on the site in awhile. The beautiluk quality of this piece is how it does evoke fond memories of loved ones passed but also compels me to make contact with long uncontacted friends.  
We all need friends in our lives that do this,
"never letting me
get away with
that bullshit
to be comfortably cloaked
in my chosen darkness"

Ohhh BB... you almost brought me to tears! Grace sometimes tells me that I remind her of Gabe and you mentioning that I evoke his memories and bring him to mind, is extremely touching. You know it's so strange, like a good strange... I never knew souladareatease (Gabe) but when lepp started the #Nopoo forum for Soul last November, I was drawn there... I can't explain it... I was just pulled to contribute. I never in a zillion years would have thought that I could post a poem a day this long... it's ludicrous! Much less have anything worthy to say. Yet not only do I just figure it out, I actually like it now. Good or bad or meh writing.... no matter. I like posting there every day!! I have met Grace through that forum, cold_fusion, Missy, lepp and I have read more of Soul's poetry than I bet a lot of people have.  

I have spoken out before (to you or someone I can't remember now) saying that I feel like I get a specific type of energy or motivation when I construct my poems directly from the #Nopoo forum. I mentioned to Grace that I think Soul's energy lead me there, to the forum while he was still with us, so I could meet her and we could become friends. Maybe that's crazy but her and I have developed a friendship that I know wouldn't have ever come to fruition, otherwise. I am hopeful that maybe Soul caught a glimpse of my poetry and somehow spiritually connected her and I. Knowing that we could help each other in the days ahead..... just my humble opinion....  

Anyway. I thank you for reading and sharing your overwhelmingly beautiful thoughts with me. I can't put into words correctly how happy that makes me. I am so grateful for your visits, the generous list add and your bear brain too!!
