Elevate Me
Her sweet love brings a sense of balance to my soul
Like a light that helps illuminate the paths and ways
As I work progressively to improve on every single role
I feel I’m finding more harmony with a touch of grace
And as the professor once said – a man must learn…
I take the lesson to mind thus lay out this master plan
So I’ll give but only to take to cultivate then truly earn
Because I’m just a simple man doing everything I can
The seeds have grown strong and the roots are deep
They have taken a hold of my eager spirit and willing heart
It’s truly an exciting and fascinating thing to reap
When my love can elevate me as my counterpart
