Great and Terrible Father

 
sweet annihilation inside the chaos...music
discerning ears listen
others walk to the beat without knowledge
a theater of disenchanted
chasing rainbows after the storms looking for the promise
he is great and terrible lest you forget

we are his children
created in his image
he is loving yes but please don't forget jealous

is this a frailty?
perhaps
is it human?
no
we take after him not him us

cruel twists and turns a learning curve
how else will we know him if not for the great unveiling?
understanding and perception is a funny thing
we turn in the eternal ever learning

evolving with our creator into a deeper bond and need
passion's gift is our Father
his dream by grand design
after his, the first prophet's visions

yet we surprise him daily
if not for this why continue?
