The snow has melted at last
The length of the lawn was feared
It needs to be sheared
More than was feared
It mutated under and through the snow
Upwards so tall and wispy
Revealing its glory after all the white and crispy

Spring is coming. As I admired the beautiful ice sculptures made from melting icicles I thought to myself this same spot will be colorful in a short while. Nature and her mood swings 😉

Igraine, I love you name and I love this poem❣️❣️ It's very clever in it's cadence and choice of language. And it illustrates so well the bursting of Spring. This passage is a lot of fun, "It needs to be sheared

I don't get snow in the parts where I live in California (other than the local mountains) but the change of greenery and scenery is always beautiful to admire, much like your piece here.
