Soul requires cutting

The edges may be rough but we need that to overcome the beckoning blustering within the stormy seas...wonderful as always

Yes, we always need edges, rough or not, to deal with all the things life throws our way. The smooth edges let the  bad stuff slip off easier though I suppose. So in so much  as the bad polishes them I suppose that's something. Thank you so much for the comment, Tim. 💎🤍

You know a raw diamond isn't ugly or worthless, but with a few cuts and some buffing it's clear there's more to behold. The universe along with the powers that be does have a way of asking for more than we think is humanly possible, but somehow we all manage to rise to the occasion. Tight work

I really appreciate a good pruning once in a while. Somebody once used the analogy with me that when you prune, the growth comes back stronger. And I like to use this philosophy with people too. I’m practically Edward Scissorhands these days, but sometimes it’s absolutely needed.

Thank you for reminding us of how easy and difficult it is to move forward.

Some cuts are easy to accept and live with, but others... frig, it can take years to appreciate the new facets they expose! Either way, I believe all those cuts eventually pare us down closer to our true essence....
