Raphium series~enigma's metaphor

 
slinging metaphors into the atmosphere
red daffodils spindly in their approach cast looks of derision  
stars tattooed with truth unravel  
 
mystery upon mystery
an enigma, look to histories tomes for answers
coded in a language you don't understand is the key
hidden in plain sight
lest it be uncovered by the scholar or the foolheartedly
 
stitch your mouths
close your eyes
the universe in on the spindle of a child's belief
 
watch as I navigate trapdoors
entering one dimension exiting on a sour note
my origins will remain a coveted secret
 
I am angry but cautious
nothing is certain
with one exception
I will reach my destination fully protected and unmolested
 
the powers that be are on notice
I am armed for war
