The grocery run...

Yesterday, driving home from the village…

Bob said uh oh…cops...behind us… with lights…

and he pulled over...wondering
what he had done.

Both policia approached the driver's side...a clue it wasn't serious.

Sure enough...they produced the annual, "support your local copper" stickers and made their pitch…

We bought this year's stick-on for the
collection on the truck's window...and

Bob says... what's your name, man?
"Jesus", replied the skinny one…"Escalante"...

"Más como, Vigilante'' I answered back…
shaking my head with a shit-eatin-grin...

That...elicited belly laughs... all
round...
from both heavy and thin...

It's good to have friends in both high and low places…

'cause you never know...when you'll need help…high or low

it can appear from anywhere...no matter where you go

So be prepared for anything...be it bad or good.

Life is built upon lessons...that ...
show us the way through the 'hood.
