It can be repaired, but once chipped there always seems to be a tell-tale sign of of previous damage. The trust is never restored to its pristine state.
But you Blue, maybe another or the same, can mend your heart. Although allowing another person entry to it may take more doing. A wary blue eye keeping vigil.
