frailty
lilts the melancholy
on my heart's strings
little stirrings remind me of my frailty
to the world, I remain stoic
inside my solemn sacred vow, I crumble
tender feelings come through and I weep
gentle child of the stars
born of humanity
within a mortal tomb, evolves
to learn some sympathy
to find beauty in pain
to see strength in the weak
in my broken, bitter dawn
I cry to the heavens
I'm going to crack
I can bear no more
that's when I find my strength
resilient determination
grows in the soil humility
finds its roots in truth
it is human of me to break a little
getting up again
there I see true grit
beautiful in the becoming
everyday a new chance
