Before I Pass Thru The Gate
taking my last journey
praying for misty rain
creating another memory
in a moment of time
before I shall take
my last breath
feeling your warm kisses
dripping upon my flesh
as Angel’s hum
smiling down on me
feeling our luv
deep inside my soul
hand over my chest
feeling your heart beating
in sync with mine
motivating purple ink
to forever etch our luv
filling every crack
every memory of you
keeps me breathing
inhaling your essence
feeling invisible passion
sealing my brokenness
knowing I’ve been so blessed
when my last breath I shall take

I like the way you see things, flowergirl. For some reason I'm thinking of Chris Rea's "The Last Train" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW6M3MEgDKY) ... perhaps because the approach in his song carries the opposite feel to a similar topic -- and your poem contrasts so well with his song.
