it reminds me of someone

 
 
 
 
every spring,
 
veins slowly
crawl up my  
back fence,
 
find rest at the
top,
 
then lazily drape
over the other side
in the summer's  
yellow, garish
heat:
 
seeing nothing,
 
feeling nothing,  
 
knowing nothing.
