Frozen heart
Cold winds shake
The dawning of the day
Screaming their shrill blankets
Upon the sun
The sun's warming beams
Are few and far between
Like a life or death game
Of hide and seek
God, help me find my way
To the eternal day
I struggle with my iniquities continuously
The darkness envelops my heart
It's growing colder by the hour
I need a fire to consume me
And bring me back to life
The dawning of the day
Screaming their shrill blankets
Upon the sun
The sun's warming beams
Are few and far between
Like a life or death game
Of hide and seek
God, help me find my way
To the eternal day
I struggle with my iniquities continuously
The darkness envelops my heart
It's growing colder by the hour
I need a fire to consume me
And bring me back to life
