paid my dues
i paid my dues
made time for you
i sold my soul
to die alone
and all i need
your company
i try so hard
my soul is scarred
maybe it’s me
who’s the enemy
everything isnt what it seems
i hide but
inside i explode
i know your view of me skewed
i don’t know how things got this bad
i wish i didn’t hurt you
i know i cannot change the past
searching for a meaning
reaching for the stars
underground is my ceiling
is that why this feels so hard
what’d you do that for
why’d you call it quits
why do you still want more
when you reminisce
is it the pain you miss
it’s easier said than done
when you’re too far gone
pushed to the edge
that’s where i been
just don’t fret my friend
i bet you’ll never see me again
dying love
i’ve had enough
i died for you
i paid my dues
made time for you
i sold my soul
to die alone
and all i need
your company
i try so hard
my soul is scarred
maybe it’s me
who’s the enemy
everything isnt what it seems
