“A VERY APPETIZING OPPORTUNITY”
(with no apology to the lizard of Oz)
We need our mojo back
It’s got me thinking about
What can be opened
Without getting into trouble
For instance, the necks
Of the wealthiest-
It may only cost us .2-.3%
In terms of total mortality
But to get every person a home
And basic income
And a guarantee of food
And quality healthcare
We would be making the most
Out of their lives
It might be a tradeoff
Some folks would consider

I hate to say this, but hell yeah! Seriously, I would take our representatives salaries cut!

Yeah, the moment I found out about what Dr. Oz said, I knew I had to write this poem. It makes practical sense, but when we are the best versions of ourselves, we are only partially practical.
