This is the story of a girl
who never gave up

She was beaten down and left for dead
alone in a world full of hatred

Everything she did was wrong
or so she was told by everyone around

She tried to be the best version of herself
despite the devil sitting on her shoulder

Every problem and every obstacle
was no match for her determination

Some days were bad
and all she wanted to do was die

Her world always felt fragile
like it would crumble with a single breath

After years of feeling lost
she finally learned to love herself

For it was the hatred towards herself
that would have been the death of her

At the end of the day when she was at her lowest
she realized how completely lonely she was

That realization led to the idea that
she is the only one that will never leave herself

If she learned to love herself
then she'd never be lonely

So that is exactly what she did

By focusing on her body and mind
She built up the confidence that this world took from her

Yes she is still scared and nervous and anxious
But she has piece of mind knowing she won’t give up

So she takes on this world and the people in it
Knowing she will never go back to the life she had before
