Conflicting Feelings

My heart is so conflicted
With the thoughts I feel for you
Wondering if you love me
As much as I hope you do

I don't know where we stand
When it comes to friends or love
I feel like we are in between
Or maybe just all the above

Yet a part of me still fears
You're going to leave me behind
Left alone and broken
Wondering why I was so blind

I honestly think you like me
But are still healing from your past
And won't let yourself love me
For fear this is too fast

And if I'm wrong and overthinking
