death drinks life with flagrant passion
plucking fair game from the nest
pleased to leave behind him
d e b a c l e s of woe.
i s n o p o t i o n
strong enough
f o r h i s
fall?

stall
the wiz
call his bluff
f o r t h e notion
that this w i c k e d foe
has no m e a n s to bind him
is a t a l l t a l e at i t s b e s t.
death shall die without compassion,
for a love that knows no ration,
having f a c e d the bitter test
with the cross behind Him,
wants the world to know
love’s devotion,
duly tough,
levies
all.
