firmament
wounded by my pride
looking up i see the sky
calling me from my predicament
beyond the bounds of the firmament
earth’s deadly scars are impermanent
for those redeemed by the sacrament
Jah-Jah children cannot die
death's been crucified

Very powerful poem and mirror image—as on earth in heaven. I enjoyed the scriptural reference and belief within this. It emanates from the words.

Yeah! The wheels turn-ever more impressively, cab. Drove your point home.

Oh, EW, thanks for cycling through this continuum. It is not a wheel of fortune that turns for me: the Creator of the universe holds me in the palm of His hand -- as He does everyone.

Haha! Fortune will always be relative. But I was thinking of your mental "cab" wheels.

Oh, I didn't misunderstand you, EW: I simply wanted to affirm that point for myself.

You know, every time i see a new lettered formation
in my mind i exclaim, " Oooooooooo!!!!! "
& even if i no longer believe in the same way,
Your message is well conveyed, well conceived
well rec'd..........
wonderful ink that i wouldn't mind sharing with my Christian Friends on FB.

Thank you, my brother. The indefatigable goodness of your heart makes a cloak of kindness for every striving spirit.
Your eye for the visual as well as the literal and intellectual is 2020 vision.
It's OK to share with your fb friends.

I enjoyed the bible reference and it was refreshing to be reminded that this life is temporary and the one that comes after is eternal and the scars of this life will fade away when we see Him in peace.

Thank you, Bluphoria!
I'm hoping you realise it was by oversight that I failed to respond earlier to your kind observation. This one just slipped by me. But my appreciation is not without the sincerity that would have otherwise have been engendered by a more timely reply.
Glad your faith is equal to the hope that God's children have in the great big future to which we hold.
Blessings.
