i will be a bridge for you
if you cannot cross your river
gently climb upon my shoulder
i will save you from death’s coup
if you cannot bear your burden
i will be a bridge for you
gratified to rendezvous
where life’s strains lithe spirits harden
should you falter in your purpose
when you would to self be true
i will be a bridge for you
for i have God-given surplus
in a universe askew
when your hopes are torn asunder
let faith lead you over Yonder

in my dyslexia i misread the chapter of Isaiah to be 42 instead of 43 and was like..........WTH!
and then reread -- whew! New International Version, right?

You gotta get the echo fire! Alexa works on phones but it's really a stereo-computer with cloud computing.

When someone is able to identify the genre without hesitation, I feel that I am in good company with a knowing audience. Thank you, Ahavati, for being right on the ball with this Quatern.
I do not see as many poets as I would like practising this form, which I think is an excellent strategy for poetic continuity and harmoniousness.
