The void
To hear a voices toll
It's pain so clearly rung
The loss of familiarity
The birth of grief and it's disparity
It's existent non existence
The basis of reality?
Does there exist, a point in time
That makes all this....
The will of the devine?
Or a step across a dividing line?
The loss of conveyance
Anothers mediative Sunnata...
In exhaustion or rarefaction
Both are minds found unknowing
And the void? Sought or not..
Is manifestation and contemplation
Is change and it's composition
Sung through nature's living song
It's pain so clearly rung
The loss of familiarity
The birth of grief and it's disparity
It's existent non existence
The basis of reality?
Does there exist, a point in time
That makes all this....
The will of the devine?
Or a step across a dividing line?
The loss of conveyance
Anothers mediative Sunnata...
In exhaustion or rarefaction
Both are minds found unknowing
And the void? Sought or not..
Is manifestation and contemplation
Is change and it's composition
Sung through nature's living song

There is a subtle syllabic quality that is engaging. The direct address engenders a potency in the voice. I have been over it a few times, admiring it's qualities. Great work.
I would be thrilled if you would read this for the site's podcast, The Poetcast Project. it would grant fuller dimension to the write and draw attention to your writing on site. If you would be amenable, please include the title and your screen name and send to:
undergroundoutloud@outlook.com
If you do not wish to read it yourself, let me know, we have a reading team that could record it. I would just need your permission.
In kindness,
Daniel

Daniel, thank you as always for your view. I always appreciate the time you take.
It would be a pleasure to provide audio for your podcast. Can you advise what would be the best format for you?

Well I do my recording on Audacity, which creates mp3's. An mp3 or mp4 would be great.

No problem brother there's no hurry. Next episode content is complete, following episode comes out on Valentine's Day and we're already gathering materiel for that. Whenever you send it, we'll begin figuring out what episode to include it.

Such an introspective and philosophical piece. I truly enjoyed your writing here, Quercus. Great work :)

NB, I love how words can carry one away both in the act of writting and the state of mind it creates. But especially for the reader and knowing they can occasionally if we are lucky, share and hear it's journey. Thank you for your kind words.
