Taste of time~
The car crashed
...the lights made the crackling glass look magical
The blood on my lips
...tasted of you and it was then that I knew
I’d never waste another life moment
... on you and your lies
Instead I’d forever taste the sweetness of my own divinity✨
The magic was tempting but fate jumped in and saved me.

Not sure if this is based on true events, but if it is I am happy you survived! Wrecks are scary things; I've been in a few myself.
This was very well done, Lily.

Dear T,
First, I’m glad you’re okay! Avahati is right, accidents are very scary.
Second, this work reminds me of a time where I experienced something quite similar and this feeling of euphoria, like a ascent of self acceptance and forgiveness.
This is a great piece! H🌷

Thank you Love. It was surreal at that one point. I remember thinking wow is this it? Then I woke up to the message from my car saying 911 had been called. There's a lot of shit flying out there right now and I'm not in the mood ;) Thank you for your constant support..xoxo

Brava, Tracey! Nothing like near-death experiences to jolt one into reality and a concept of our mortality and how we want or don't to spend the rest of our precious, fleeting existence.
This passage is beautiful and empowering,
"Instead I’d forever taste the sweetness of my own divinity"

I can understand the euphoria of having survived - I went through that at 36 when I passed out from an epileptic fit (not since occurred) and needed rescue from drowning. I'd say from my experience don't be surprised if you get low points (I had two stress related times off sick from work due to that incident). One good thing that came from it was I was rescued with help of an off duty German trainee doctor (one of the swimmers) who is now a FB friend from back in her country.
