I've found the place I want to spend the rest of my life,
The place where began, my real life...
You.
When I discovered you.
You are my home,
You are my sky, my sunshine,
My rainbows, sunflowers, and moonshine,
So beautiful and high above me,
And so intoxicating to me.
You are where I want to continue to grow,
Where I want to go
When I need a safe space from the overwhelming world,
Where, in your arms, you could hold
Me, without saying a word,
We could be each others shield, and sword.
Your mind is so fascinating, I wish to know more,
Your soul is so sweet, kind, and bright, it makes my eyes sore,
But I love this bittersweetness,
My "missing-you", sadness,
And my "ecstatic-to-think-about-you", gladness
For both show just how much I care for you.
I wish I could spend time with you,
Talk to you,
Taking an inhale, and accidentally tasting the air around you,
But I guess for now, all I'll get to taste, are these bittersweet, salty, tears I have for you.
The place where began, my real life...
You.
When I discovered you.
You are my home,
You are my sky, my sunshine,
My rainbows, sunflowers, and moonshine,
So beautiful and high above me,
And so intoxicating to me.
You are where I want to continue to grow,
Where I want to go
When I need a safe space from the overwhelming world,
Where, in your arms, you could hold
