Moment

I wish I was…I wish I was a moment

Timeless, still with meaning, emotion

Movie night kissing between scenes

I do’s whispered while the preacher speaks

Holding hands in the park beneath falling leaves

Bonfires, drinking with friends on the beach

Passion emanating as lovers lose their virginity

Eruption of excitement as you hit the winning lottery

Snow ball fights, streaking down empty streets

A live concert, lost in the music, endless screams

Picnic scenery, skipping rocks over the river stream

I love you goodnights, whispered as you fall asleep

A moment, any moment where I could always be happy

I wish I was a moment, so happiness could be my reality
