I'd Rather Not
Standing curbside caught in the endless crashing of rain.
The moon's reflection dances in a pothole turned puddle
Tilting back my head exhaling clouds of mary jane
Moonlight eclipsed by her umbrella, followed by the loud pop of her gum bubble
Hello lost under a mumble, I can feel my heart begin to rumble
Looking for what to say, everything but the truth shrouds my brain
Beginning to piece the puzzle, the words I love you became the shovel
"Its not you it's me " a classic phrase I simply could not refrain

Black rimmed eyes
Staring out into the sky
Clouds horizontally lined
Like paper floating by
Awaiting the touch of my mind

But the words won't flow

Worthlessly Perfect
We live a starless life
Fragile and imperfect
Beneath rainy skies
Believed to be worthless
Unable to awake from misery
Alone and unable to sleep
Drowning in our own screams
Tears that flow endlessly
Wishing tomorrow wouldn’t come
Bathed in self inflicted pain
Wanting to disappear far away
Hiding behind fakes smiles

Reaching out for answers

Drowning
My eyes slowly fluttered open
To shades of blue and nothing
Body nearly unable to move
Concious fading, losing breath
Oh what a beautiful death
Drowning into darkness
Staring at the lit surface
I reached to see if I could touch it
Tears eaten by the tide

Acceptance
I am the embodiment of sorrow
Humanities sins and a hopeless tomorrow
My existence holds no worth, no purpose
An ugly duckling amongst swans, just lurking
Save your worries, save you tears
I will no longer live in denial, behind fear
My future has always been crystal clear
I will continue to lose everyone I hold dear and love will always be followed by more tears
Pain has become a part of me, to suffer is my destiny
Life will be the end of me ,religion offers no clarity

Anything worth everything is both terrifying and beautiful
Maybe from fear of losing it, or how it fills you with hope
The ability to fill life with purpose, and rip it away at any second
She is the world to me, but at the same time its apocalypse

For if they were to end should be the bringer of sadness
A smile that lights my very soul, making me smile as well
If it were to disappear I would fall into a depressive hell

What is wrong was the question
Everything, but nothing is how I said it
If only they knew how I meant it
Suffering from depression
Not knowing what world my head is in
Fed up with pointless lies
Sad and painful goodbyes
Constantly awaiting my time
As I dabble in more wrongs than rights
The idiotic trials of love with women
Tested until not one fuck is given
My sad excuse for existence
Always working to make a living
Yet never feeling alive

With every ounce of emotion
Sober maybe drunk
Whispered softly in the ear
Yelled at the top of your lungs
Whenever its time to go
After some corny jokes
Broken between kissing lips
Before during and after sex
When tears are flowing
