Ghost
Whisper your sweets
Right into my ear
The slightest breeze
Lets me know you're here
But I cannot see
You won't allow that
Hiding in the shadows
To claim my habitat
I'd say I love you
But you're not really there
When I try to love someone new
Your whispers turn to blares
I am unaware
Of a love like this
I am unaware
Of what your kind truly is
You are a ghost
Pretending to be alive
Feeding me lies
While sucking me dry
But I will not give you my life
I Will not give you more of my time
I Will not become the walking dead
... Like you
No, I Will move on instead
To someone new.
Right into my ear
The slightest breeze
Lets me know you're here
But I cannot see
You won't allow that
Hiding in the shadows
To claim my habitat
I'd say I love you
But you're not really there
When I try to love someone new
Your whispers turn to blares
I am unaware
Of a love like this
I am unaware
Of what your kind truly is
You are a ghost
Pretending to be alive
Feeding me lies
While sucking me dry
But I will not give you my life
I Will not give you more of my time
I Will not become the walking dead
... Like you
No, I Will move on instead
To someone new.
