Daisy Chain (collab with the talented crimsin)
Here laced to your senses
is an enchantment.
If it doesn't speak to you...
let it show you…
The day aches, and I with her,
daisies in tune with natural energies
said trouble was on the dimming horizon.
I could feel it...the sunflowers all whisper,
quietly gossiping about the cause of distress.
Wildflower magic would save me
casting on the airs while the tree guardians watch on.
I wove a protective spell,
freeing me from the dread of dark light.
In the cleansing pools of the Goddess
I replenish my soul,
quenching thirst for answers
desolate, whispery regions of my mind.
A shielding curse indeed
liberated my stricken body,
now standing stoutly amongst the blossoms of the bright night.
I could sense it… the flowers all bud in gloom!
A charm indeed the trees flutter above,
offering glimpses of the infinite of space,
for I know now that we bloom in the light of the night.
Let’s speak to each other with the sounds of the night,
let’s show each other the beauties of the night.
And through a crevice ascending into the cold, the budding of a black rose.
I pluck the rose who in spite of the darkness
bloom to light the dark as a promise
my daisy magic worked to charm you forth from the shadows
as one we speak in unison of love
I turn to you and see rows of sunflowers
little sentinels in formation
a deadly little weed but they choke out the white noise
I turn to you smiling your move love... one, two, three and step
careful inside of our garden of hope now.
