Bitter Tounges
Wherefore doth thou speak in bitter tongues?
When questions asked of thee,
Thou speaks of heartbreak, politics, and society, thou bedungs.
When finishing the sentences of others,
Bitter nothingness, and hate of the religious,
And thy quotes are always thine own, nary another's.
Thou may be angry, depressed, and filled with ennui,
But that doth not mean thy need be,
Bringing other people down in the pits of Hell with thee.
Let not those filled with joy and acceptance,
Be pushed down with thee, by thy combatants,
And make them wish they had never spoken with thee,
Thy may be self-centered, and whiny,
And full of scrutiny,
But let the believers believe,
Let the dreamers dream, and memories relive.
Let the joyful, stay joyful,
Let the discontented, vent,
Doth not tell them how bad the world is, how they should act, or to accept joy and not to vent.
This thou should know,
Feelings come and go,
Sometimes in waves, sometimes in stages,
Sometimes stays for ages,
Before finally letting go.
So no,
Thou canst not just bite off the head of everyone who feels good about life and themselves,
Anyone who wants to be silly and have fun, or whom delves,
Into the realm of religion and mysticism.
They need'st not thy meddling, opposing, activism,
Thou need'st not talk them out of their dreams, hopes, and each belief,
Or thy social life will slowly dwindle like the Great Barrier Reef.
