Natural Beauty

 
almond blossoms beckon my soul
flowing and free with the wind
I wander among the tree guardians
little flowers snowing down on me
 
it is my small slice of heaven
here in the country where nothing much happens
nature embraces me
giving me a sense of well being
 
I am carefully observant of the changing of the guards
as blossoms drop and leaves emerge
the first green means it's not far in coming
ahh, Spring...
 
I love the trees and they love me
watching out for me they silently listen
as I whisper my secrets
quietly they gossip with the rustling of their leaves
but they don't tell any mortal
no, my secrets are safe
 
nature is my home
where I'm reminded there is still beauty here
poetry in motion is all that is natural
so in love with her...mother over me and you
