Empty Pleasures

I actually really liked this little snippet. It’s the emphasis of the word “empty” that really packs the punch. Pleasures could be anything. “Empty” adds weight to the nothingness.

First, the picture is priceless. Secondly, your words are truth. Our world thrives on  voids as well as smoke and mirrors. It's terrible what has become of society and and most haven't a clue. Sigh.

For the photo: at first I envisioned a picture of a person sitting in a dark room with the indiscernible glow of a TV in front of them. I did find pictures that looked very similar to what I was looking for, but once I found this picture, I was satisfied.

So so true NewBeginnings! Love this lil spill this resonates very much i feel like way too many of us are distracted as you said.

Yeah, it's up to the parents to steer their children in the right direction. It was mainly the adults that I was speaking about in this, myself included; but it starts are a young age. I appreciate your kind comments as usual, and thanks for stopping by again!
