My Mother

You Carried me through labor
You Endured my birth

Giving me life
You brought me to this earth

From your bosom
You gave me milk

I remember the hands
That felt like silk

You dressed me, you fed me
You combed my hair

Through the tantrums and crying
You were always there

In this world, there is no other

There is no one like MY MOTHER
