Simplistic as Nature

Looking out trying to sort what's within
spying the squirrel and the hedgehog
attempting to live together in harmony
 
nature in it's simplicity, take it all in
a butterfly flutters at daybreak
uncovering all life's little mystery
 
give and take, sparks still ignite
lying naked in your understanding
gentleness eloping under an electric sky
 
heartbeats surrendering to midnight
fingers touch, loving eyes bravely shut
equanimity undisturbed never felt so fine
