Crystalline Nights

The frosty nights are crystalline: they're clear
As golden thoughts, exclusive to my head;
I thank you with a smile: could this endear
Me more to you, as we fuck in your bed?

If I efface myself as we make love,
You'll find reflections mirrored; if you look
Into my shadowed pupils from above,
Is just a glimpse enough? It's all you took;

You'd have it all, but I gave it away:
The rhythm of love making is enough;
You give me your permission and you stay
Quite still, but you can seldom call my bluff;

Yet would you really want to? I'll devise
Such slow and graceful movements; they're designed
As music for these moments, when my eyes
Adore you on clear nights we've both defined.
