soul colors
the day bled her colors...
until they blend with mine
in stark contrast she is vivid
while I am pastel in nature
my feelings are washed out
hers bold with emotion
together we harmonize
she fills my emptiness
I tone down her zealous proclamations
a symphony of high and low notes
we dance a ballet of oneness
into the dark, she enters
with a light, I can barely comprehend
she understands the depths of it
my quiet pain is at home in her ozone
the day bled her colors...
until they blend with mine
she is a beautiful lady of uniqueness
and so am I

Absolutely......I want to make the most of every day, but it seems to have ruptures and needs repairs....and ironically....the best poetry seems to follow that pattern....working through the fog is poetic.

Some of my favorite colours are pastels. They show better against the bright, don't you think? A beautiful blending indeed, my beautiful Dark Angel. I love you...

Hey Crimmy,
Another beautiful, introspective write, my friend, but so clever, and well written.
Now if we could get both you and yourself writing, we could have double the amount of beautiful poetry. ; ).
Love always,
Matthew.

One of the most beautiful deep expressions of finding together a beautiful union. You with struggle to come to light as she eases her light to a soft romantic flow of two souls to one.
Imagery is so vivid and living you feel your ink deep within your mind and soul. Well done Dearest Brenda well done indeed.
Loved it so very much.

I read this from two perspectives. One way and then another. I know you extend your beauty to perceiving the beauty of others, so I thought of it as an ode to someone who shines brightly in your life and where you intertwine, like dancing tongues of flame or ropes of smoke undulating on the wind.
Then I read it in a more elemental sense of your adoration and connection to nature and, through it, to the nature of spirit and being. Saturated by a spectrum of color, warmed by a blanket of light.
I found it touching and must keep in mind that the author's purpose and the reader's interpretation are entirely unique animals, but I hope my perspective was as enjoyable to you as yours was to me.
Namaste.
Daniel

The colors are sublime. I particularly like the last stanza. You have a beautiful soul, of radiant hues.
