It is a heartbreaking topic to write about, indeed. It's a little depressing, but I implore you to watch the documentary that inspired this poem if you have the time. You can find it in YouTube for free, I think, just search 'Racing Extinction'.

   to comment or not to comment, because this pulls the heart strings even while the instrument may have a discordance..the sound of this poem is relatable; but the hearts of many(especially mine) more or less distorted. (I'm sure you understand) where I'm coming from)

I am a bird lover as well. Birding is actually a huge hobby of mine (that's what enthusiast usually call it).

When I first saw that clip a couple of years ago, I was close to tears. It's just so sad. The way the guy was worded the story was so tragically beautiful, comparing the voices of the birds of this Earth to the instruments in an orchestra, which are being silenced - one by one - as we drive them towards extinction...

Everything you could want in a haiku. Lovey, succinct, and powerful. You’re left feeling fat after you’re done reading.
