the Demon and the Moon

I sit atop of dying faceless dreams.
I sing and chant, yet ever lying smiles,
do meet and blaze of angry eyes despise.
A roasting heart may flutter at the sheen.

A toasted aura breathing final breath.
I, wicked, fly towards hushed worlds in ache,
to steal away their souls before they wake.
A heartless creature, wailing, eating death

I shine before the moon, notorious,
Her broken song lamenting for each one.
Inhale, her tears are worth inglorious.
Sweet Beautiful, embrace this fallen none.

I, conquering shadow, victorious.
I, lost in light, in night, in sin, and sun.
