Is this our fate?

I wish we would embrace the "drugs"
That don't make you brain dead
The ones that feed your head.
Natures teachers
For us earthly creatures to use to enhance our perceptions of ourselves and life.
To view existence from a higher dimensional perspective
Beyond the egotistical point of view
Where it's all about you.
These ancient substances show us there is more to this reality than we think we know.
They have much to show
They can help us grow as a species.
Tell us to stop destroying ourselves
Creatin our own hell.
Dragging earth down with us.
They would tell us to stop destroying our home
The only one we've ever known.
Humans,
Stop what your doing
We've gone to far with the destruction of earth,
The original realm of mirth
Till we came along, wont be long till
We make ourselves go extinct.
Killing eachother, killing ourselves
Killing the animals, eating the animals
Polluting, shooting, excessive waste
Aggressive distaste.
We're the most savage primates on this floating rockball in space,
Devastatingly so.
Its a **** show
We know
But how much further will we go though?
Till we see it can't stay this way.
Till the day comes when its to late
Is this our fate?
