Where O Where
I’d like to know
where silent voices go
ones who shared vows
to luv me thru eternity
specially one in particular
who’s initials are carved
upon my heart and a tree
how is it I can manage to
still laugh
still smile
still feel
when death inside me
is all that truly lives
along with dying memories
when Angel’s cry
and rain falls
covering my tears
are you crying too
perhaps from above
watching me thru clouds
sure wish I knew
where you’ve gone
are you silently reading
my purple ink
of never ending
thoughts of us
dripping down
tear stained pages
toes dancing in sand
feeling your kisses
from across the ocean
as a warm tide brings
you closer to me
or perhaps I’m just hoping
our luv is still real
like it used to be
not wanting to face
once there was a time
for you & me
now ended in silence
where o where
might you be
I will forever wonder
in my heart & soul
always for sure
never forgotten
or unluved
is one place I know
you’re voice
is not silenced
but a luving whisper
coming to me
in my dreams
with reassuring words......
“good night,
I love you,
my purple rose”

There are few things that leave a person unable to move on as an unanswered disappearance. The non-closure is as a backdraft of cold air into the future.

This sent purple shivers of sadness rivers from above my nose down to my toes.
I know exactly how this feels. When one who tattoos their image on your heart then vanishes into a mist of tears without a whisper or trace, the heart can only break and can never forget.
