Puppy Love

Sweet and loyal
Kind and true
Even though his eyes
Say he's sad
Through and through
He's always there waiting
Excited when I'm back
Wants to know
How much I love him
Always afraid
I won't come back
Sometimes he's silly
Loves to make me laugh
When he sees me crying
He's always got my back
So every day I pet him
Taking care of my boo
Giving him my loving
When I can see he's blue
But he's not man's best friend
Because to him the world
Was cruel And mean
And yet he means
So much to me even though
It may go unseen
He's just the sweetest
Puppy ever
And I'll love him forever
I sincerly do believe
He'll always be my friend
Until the very end
