she harbors something within
deeper than the night sky
infiltrated with stars
illuminating

a softness that speaks to power
gentle stride of native feet
leaving no apparent mark

she feels everything ... deeply
pulsatings of the universe
emotions of trees whispering
wise incantations

rivers gurgling with stories
 tears
teaching us to be still, reflect, flow

blue skies
wind rippling clouds formations
beseeching gaze

oceans
rivers
warming
rising
falling
running wild
and deep

nature is screaming

she observes with eyes
wide open
pureness of heart
too easily shattered

she stands alone
waiting for others to
see
feel
listen

not deny


they look to her
hoping to find poetry
in a mere kiss
