yellow in the sky

there is a yellow in the sky
she lies awake , floating
moving positions like a self assured kite in the breeze
her willpower and light shines, glistening
and the patch of warm soft sand stands
like a sore thumb in a blue ocean
unbelievably different, yellow and mellow
a burning bold heat living in a neverending strip of blue
the grains of sand emit their rays softly
landing upon our skin with a tender grace
