unveiling the dawn
the cloud peppered dawn
cried tears of grief
at first blush her nighttime solitude ended
in came the sun revealing every sin
naked to the world
she stood ashamed
she conjured the clouds
heavy with her pain
to bleed her heaviness onto the Earth
the most delicate
and fierce flowers bloom from her ache
with a fragrance that entices many peoples
her shaded gloom a spell casting aroma
the people cast their eyes to the heavens
to bare witness to the shining dawn
her weary heart bore alone
the great weight of knowing
now she shines over the horizon
a deep beauty within her pain
as she shares the hidden
the mysteries of the universes
her burden lifted

I've always secretly believed that dew was tears from the grief of moon and sun forever kept apart, a brief kiss in the morning before day takes over dark. This reminds me of those thoughts as a young girl, my beautiful Dark Angel. Such beautiful poetry. I love you :-)

"Now she shines over the horizon a deep beauty within her pain as she shares the hidden". Words of hope, words so strong, they shed a light in the wilderness of this broken humanity. I truly believe that there must be something beyond this sky that we all share and that one day we will all celebrate in joy. Truly beautiful sweet poetess.

This begins on a note of melancholy but ends with inspiration. My favorite lines:
the people cast their eyes to the heavens
to bare witness to the shining dawn
her weary heart bore alone
the great weight of knowing
The weight of knowing is lifted, finally, in triumph, if I understand correctly. I miss the mark all too often. I love this in any case, always intrigued and delighted by the scope of your writes.

The way you evoke such personal emotion the elemental imagery is captivating. I read this over several times, carefully, considering each stanza separately, then as a whole. I am moved and moved to admiration.
