all things in balance

 
I feel my power diminishing
within a reckless moment
a thrill then a crash
as I let the spirits have rule over me

malignant in nature
I should have felt them coming
instead I gloried within a great line
in a write they conjured

evil is at work in the universes
it's up to me what kind of conduit I will be
will I spread the darkness?

let it flow through me
so it can touch others
with no thought to my responsibility

the peoples of the world
look for guidance
inside a word, inside a verse
will I deny them truth?

I want to channel all things in balance
the light would not shine so bright
if not for the darkness

today I let it get out of control
for what a good line
whispered in my ears
by a debauch entity?
