The Compliments of Older Men

I should efface myself and not be heard,
And blush to hear the compliments of men,
Who are much older than me: "Pretty thing"
And "dainty doe" - each tidy, little word
Will differentiate - defer to them -
I'm not sure why I should? They may well sing
My praises, but I'm sure they have conferred
To deck me with their follies as and when
The silks they buy conspire with the satin
To bring softness to shyness - it's preferred
To the embellishments of one who'd pen
Rebuttals of such gentlemen who fling
Themselves at me - I've shown I know the place
For you to fuck, and, then, efface with grace.
