Family
I don't know how you can see, day after day,
The remnants of my life
And still think everything is the same.
Now I know that you have secrets,
The truth is soon to unfold.
You abandoned me, cast me out,
Because I didn't do what I was told.
The Bible life isn't for me,
But why don't I feel free?
You were my family
But now that's something you'll never be,
Ever again
You live your life in sin
Just as much as me.
The remnants of my life
And still think everything is the same.
Now I know that you have secrets,
The truth is soon to unfold.
You abandoned me, cast me out,
Because I didn't do what I was told.
The Bible life isn't for me,
But why don't I feel free?
You were my family
But now that's something you'll never be,
Ever again
You live your life in sin
Just as much as me.
