A fallen lily
Dark and empty
the souls of broken seeds
a fallen lily
almost out of time
wisps of something...
a memory...
a better time
No where to go
drifting and alone.
trudging through this sodden ground
desperately wishing to be found.
Lacking shelter...
lacking a home.
all seems lost
lost in the wind
never to be seen again...

So much water has passed under the bridge and yet it never stops flowing beneath, like an Esher where water flows uphill to replenish the stream... let your river flow!

Lilies portray love, passion and affection, happiness and warmth. These things come from the bulb or the heart. Just because the flower has fallen doesn’t mean the heart has. Love will re-bloom. Love this piece
