Love that kills
Never in my mind
Thought it would touch my life

The handsome face
Ravaged with time
My heart just another toy
To play with and
Discard
Over and over I
Allowed myself to believe
The lies
But now,
The bruises to my soul
Are harder to

Seems I waited my
Whole life for an equal to my
Passion
Only to come face to face
With the true wielder, of
his ardor, her name:
