Passing Storm

I stepped out into the rain
hoping no one would notice
the difference between
the drops & the tears
my umbrella couldn't shield
There is a greater storm within'

the lightning strikes
beauty into the darkness
the heavens rumble for a revival
and a rainbow not long to await
in the torrent, there is faith.
