Every time you put your pen to paper you bring forth such imagery and thought provoking questions and concepts. Love is indeed the beginning and the ending. And everything in between. I think it's fraught with pain and disillusionment, moments of intense bliss and joy, and long eternities of numbness. I think far too often we skitter away from it in anticipation of further agony and sabotage ourselves in the process. Such a beautiful piece :-)
You inspire me to continue writing. I truly savour your comments; You make me cock my head to the side, at what I have written (lol), and soak in the thought that words have power, but even more so, when those words translate into action. My writings are often 'letters to myself' - and when it's appreciated and serves as a message/inspiration to others, I feel as though I am living my purpose. Thank you, love. You are such an amazingly, awe-inspiring poet yourself. Hugs xo
Love is the trip of a lifetime, it should be all of the highest points we travel and even when low it should be tempered with glowing fires that produce damask steel. Heat and fire, but solid strength. It is passion and tenderness and companionship and trust and so much more. Red wine and arousal did their jobs quite effectively.
