The Love Affair of Tad and Elizabeth--day 11 through 15

DAY 11-SERENDIPITIES

It is above a garage -a flight of stairs opening on a bedroom,a cement bathroom, and a small kitchen.Tad and Elizabeth are in the little city of Brent, about four miles outside Pensacola proper. They have just signed a short term rental. The Italian widow who owns the Spanish house and property shook their hands and gave a brief hug to each (Old World Italian manners) before she left and could be heard waddling down the wooden staircase.Tad and Elizabeth would move in tomorrow.

Tad had been a phone hound the last few days, diligently calling rooms for rent from the Pensacola newspapers till a broken English voice informed him she had an opening in June. "Nothing sooner? Even for a short stay? My wife and I are on our honeymoon and..."- A tall tale he festooned with accounts of their being mugged in New York and how both would feel safer in a real home than in a motel or hotel. The woman said, "This is almost the end of the month. The room has been vacant all this month. If you had called earlier...well better find another place." But Tad said "We'll take it for the remainder of this month." There was a long silence. He thought she had hung up, then he heard, "Come over and look at it. Do you know where Brent is?"

Elizabeth thought the fact that the widow was half blind and hard of hearing was an added serendipity-a bonus to lessen their onus.

DAY 12-THE NEW LIVING QUARTERS

Arriving mid morning, laden with groceries that dropped kerplunk to the floor when Tad suddenly swung Elizabeth over to the bed where both began fucking each other's brains out, letting the ice cream and frozen dinners melt...was it one hour, was it two? Did they care?

Elizabeth, who had put herself in charge of their first meal here, places on the small square  kitchen table a candle and holder she found in a drawer. Turkey dinners tonight. And for dessert chocolate ice cream she re-firmed by adjusting the freezer section of the fridge.Tad couldn't remember feeling so in love with her as he did now sitting across from her in the candlelight. She was so beautiful. She made him feel so  complete. She was his fair maiden forever and ever.

After dinner they went into the bedroom where there were two chairs a light-weight modern-style rocker and a straight backed chair. Elizabeth rocked on the rocker and Tad sat on the straight backed. "When she said Mister Campbell, do you have a photo ID also? I thought we were goners,"  Elizabeth said."If I hadn't jumped in and  said we lost everything in the New York robbery..."

"If you hadn't jumped in your Beast would have -to save his Beauty and her brains.".

"Gary Campbell, Gary Campbell," she said amusedly.

"You never did like my alias."

"It's so common, but I guess that's what we need. My favorite sister Kat and I used to catch butterflies and snails and put them in jars and give them names. We never killed them like some of our other sisters did. We let them go free after studying them. Hermione, Rufus, Mildred. What a horrid name, Mildred. Kat taught me video games and guitar. We sang in the choir. Those were the days I wished I was older like her. Wished I was in a real school, not dependent on home tutors. My mother's idea. Thought she could tame this wild girl. I guess they're all worried about me now, but maybe understanding. In May I turn another year older. I fear getting old. I mean getting OLD old. She rose."Want a Pepsi?" Tad shook his head no.She went into the kitchen and stood in front of the window which faced the widow's long balcony. "I think she must get terribly lonely sometimes," she said, as Tad came up behind her...

he felt her firm full breasts, her shapely thighs, his penis rise.

DAY 13-WASHING THEIR CLOTHES WHILE SINGING

Two blouses, two pairs mens shorts, two pairs womens, four pairs mens underwear, ditto for womens, two pairs mens levis, two pairs womens jeans, four shirts unisex, two womens halters, four pairs tennis shoes and several socks- all being washed in the sink or under the shower because there was no bathtub. A somewhat cumbersome situation that Tad and Elizabeth transcended by singing whatever came into their minds..Tad's voice was  a pleasant baritone, Elizabeth's a soft  mezzo soprano.

Tad started, "I have been a rover, I have walked alone, hiked a hundred highways , never found a home, still and all I'm happy the reason is you see, once in a while along the way love has been good to me..."

Elizabeth, next, "Did you know you're my hero, everything I would like to be, I can fly higher than an eagle for you are the wind beneath my wings...

"Go on," Tad urged.

"If I can remember. Let's see, higher than an eagle, then oh ok I always liked this line, listen," "It might have gone unnoticed but it's all here in my heart and...  and..." . "I'm blank. Your turn."n nger

Tad sang in a self-assured, macho tone, "If you ever want a lover I'll do anything you ask me to, and if you want another kind of love I'll wear a mask for you or if you want a partner, take my hand or if you want to strike me down in anger, here I stand, I'm your man. And if..."

Elizabeth interrupted."Who wrote that?" she said, wringing out her half-socks.

"Leonard Cohen."

"Sounds nuts."

" He has to grow on you. How about this one he wrote."  "Suzanne takes you down to her place by the river, you can hear the boats go by, you can spend the night forever and you know  that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there and she feeds you tea and oranges that come all the way from China..."  He held a shirt up to the
light, then started scrubbing it again.

"I remember that song was played a lot on the radio."  Then without hardly a pause, she began singing "The water is wide, I can't cross o'er, neither have I wings to fly, give me a boat that can carry two and both shall row across, my love and I."

Tad said, "An old Scottish ballad. A small boat. That's our kayak, baby."

"I learned it in my history class at home. I always identified with it as I grew up."

"Could be our theme song, baby."

She gave a thumbs up.

On and on they sang, some new songs, some old, each song giving an extra energy to their laundry tasks, till the clothes were hung on the shower rod and over the sink, and Elizabeth had decided to walk into the kitchen.

She took out of the fridge the tuna sandwiches she had prepared earlier and arranged them on the kitchen table. A perfect picture then of

two lovers eating lunch; he in his robe, she in her favorite gown as the bright sun streams through the window, and between them love and happiness abound.

DAY 14-LOVEMAKING

Tad and Elizabeth had sex, on the average, of two or three times per day. Not all was actual intercourse. For instance, giving head in the 69 position was a favorite because Elizabeth always came quickly which pleased Tad because "eating a woman out" can become wearisome for even the most robust of men if the woman takes overlong to climax.Tad usually finished the act by fucking her doggy style-never resorting at any time to Viagra or Cialis, a bottle of the latter he had thrown into his suitcase before the journey because like most men his age, he was worried about performance. He was a health science teacher; there was no shame attached to utilizing scientific measures if the need arose.

Today the Kama Sutra lay opened beside them on the bed. They ogled the drawings of the various sex positions and debated which one to try first. The advice and suggestions for love-making paled in comparison. Elizabeth said she had read "hotter" stuff in the issues of her sisters' Cosmopolitan's ,

Tad reached out and began tickling Elizabeth under her arms; she began tickling his nipples. Soon he was holding one of her feet, tickling its bottom. She was starting to giggle hysterically, backing away as he advanced further towards her, tickling both feet now. The Kama Sutra plopped to the floor. And in laughing frenzy he mounted her in their old standard missionary position, proving you can't legislate sex, that is ,you
can't follow rules and diagrams; it has to be spontaneous.

Much later, towards the midnight hour, when both were horny and undressing each other, his erection quite prominent and tion she administering to it with hand and lips, he announced , "I'm gonna name this the T-Bone Steak Position. Watch. Naked,he flopped onto the bed on his back with both arms stretched straight out to the sides so he was more or less, a replica of the  letter T with a mighty boner. She slipped down on it with the ease of a very wet pussy and rode him like a bronco-there's no other way to describe it. He was sweating, his heart was pounding. She had found a magic wand to fire orgasm after orgasm. He panted,he moaned, determined to hold his strength under her fervid buckings and thrusts, determined in his sudden youth, to match her own voraciousness, till both collapsed into each other's arms--spent utterly.

Several restful minutes passed. She raised herself slightly.

"Thaddeus, you're the baddest," she whispered.

DAY 15- A TALK AND A WALK

Theirs was a quiet place.

Occasionally they heard the widow's long Cadillac being backed out of the garage below by her chauffeur; and sometimes a car would park on the circular drive at the back of the house, an elderly couple or two appearing--probably friends of the widow's.

This morning Tad was rocking in the rocker, checking his tablet."The TBI [ Tennessee Bureau of Investigation] doesn't have a clue," he said.

Elizabeth was in the kitchen, cleaning the oven. "Isn't there any way around getting married in the States? It would be easier than going to Mexico."

"Like I said before, you'd have to prove you're 18, and I'd be up for bigamy."

"I just thought there might be loopholes."

'Honey, we're gonna make it. Don't fret."

She came out of the kitchen. "I love cleaning. I love keeping house.I want a big house."

"We'll get one"

"With a dog."

"We'll get one."

"And a bird.". .

'We'll get one."

"Just kidding. Buy a big house, though. A big kitchen." She took his hand, pulling him up from the rocker. "Don't mind me, let's take a walk, get some fresh air."

They strolled arm in arm around the grounds, secretly hoping the widow might spy them, these two honeymooners so much in love. They wondered what memories it might stir in the widow. But all was quiet. A landscape of peaceful desertion.

"My favorite flower, geraniums,"  she said, going over to a row of them blooming against the back wall of the garage. She picked a very red one and stuck it in her hair.

"I used to fall in love with every girl who wore a flower in her hair. I thought it romantic as all get-out," Tad said.

"You did?" she said, coming up close to him, kissing. Her close scent of breath and cheeks--an ambrosia, an elixir that always went straight to his deepest senses.

"Do you see anybody or hear anything?" she asked.

"No."

She unfastened her shorts then placed her palms against the concrete wall as she opened her legs. Tad pressed a gentle thrust and retract, thrust and retract against her as he fumbled for his zipper and looked every which way to see if all was clear. She pulled her shorts down further. "Yes yes do it," she said.

"Do you want it?" he asked.

"Yes yes. Yes yes just like that  Oh baby yes, oh baby yes yes..."

They finished quickly to a sound of clapping and saw it was a dove flapping its wings as it ascended into the sky above. The happening would inscribe itself forever in their minds as a special blessing upon their contentious love affair.
